The southern end of South Korea is very special to me, who was born and raised in the northern end. The clean water, a number of beautiful little islands, and the vivid colour of Korea that place has always bring the memories back to me, no matter how far I am from there.
취업과 함께 사회로의 첫 발을 내딛었던 2011년의 여름, 역시나 처음이었던 소중한 여름 휴가를 보내기 위해 남도로 훌쩍 떠났습니다. 한반도의 남쪽 반에서도 북과 가까운 곳에서 태어난 강냉이에게 남도는 신선하고 특별한 곳입니다. 맑은 바다가 펼쳐지고 섬이 가득한 남쪽 한국은 그 자체로도 너무나 아름다울 뿐만 아니라, 역사를 공부했던 대학교 시절 학우들과 떠났던 답사나 유홍준 선생님과 같은 석학들의 책을 통해 배우고 안내받은 남도가 가득 담은 한국의 색깔 때문입니다.
